Fourth of July Yogurt Bark-Quick and Easy Treat

My daughter absolutely loves vanilla Greek yogurt! For the Fourth of July, I decided to make a festive treat. Yogurt bark is great because it is a healthier cold dessert that will help anyone cool off in the hot summer sun. The best part about it is that it takes no time at all to make! The freezer does most of the work.

You can customize your bark ingredients and design however you want. You could use raspberries in the place of the strawberries or write out USA with your fruit. Have fun with it! This would even be a fun treat to make with your little ones.

Equipment

  • 8×8 pan/desired size
  • Silicone spatula
  • Parchment paper

Ingredients:

  • Vanilla Greek Yogurt
  • Strawberries
  • Blueberries

Directions:

  1. Wash and dry your fruit.
  2. Cut your strawberries to desired size.
  3. Line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper.
  4. Add yogurt to the pan and smooth it out to about a quarter inch thick.
  5. Add blueberries in rows to the top left of your yogurt.
  6. Add strawberries to make stripes to your yogurt.
  7. Place your pan in the freezer for 3 hours or overnight.
  8. Remove the bark from the parchment paper.
  9. Break bark into desired-sized pieces.
  10. Serve and enjoy immediately.

**Storage: Store leftover pieces in your freezer.

**This is a great recipe for a large group! Just use a larger pan and follow the same directions.
