22 Easter Egg Filler Ideas That Aren’t Candy
1. Finger Puppets
There are so many finger puppet options to choose from! I chose farm animals, but you can buy anything from monsters to Disney Characters.
2. Bracelets
My daughter loves bracelets, but I didn’t want to give her bracelets made with beads that would break easily as well as being a choking hazard. Coil hair ties I think are a great option because they come in so many different colors.
3. Chalk
Chalk is always a fun gift to give that your child. It is always a fun and easy activity that they can partake in outside. I used egg shaped chalk because they fit perfectly and they are super festive.
4. Mini Cars
There are great options for mini pull back cars that come in a pack. They fit perfectly inside of eggs.
5. Stickers
Stickers are quick and easy fun. There are so many choices to choose from. You can buy a sticker sheet and cut out the stickers or buy individual stickers.
6. Fruit Snacks
Healthy fruit snacks are an easy addition that your child will love. It is still something that your child can indulge on, but it’s not full of sugar. I used Plum Organics fruit snacks because they are soft and flat. They are made for toddlers, so I’m not worried about her choking on them.
7. Pop It/ Small Toy
Kids absolutely love pop its and you can find them in so many shapes, sizes and colors! I used egg shaped pop its because they are small and festive and fit perfectly inside of the eggs.
8. Balloons
Balloons are fun and can become a game to play with your child later by playing keepy uppy. There are so many options of balloon, from color to shape to the size of the balloon. You might even have leftover balloons from a party that you could use.
9. Animal Figurines
Kids love animals and it would be a fun surprise for them to find animals in their eggs. I chose woodland creatures, but there are so many options.
10. Bunny Crackers
I chose Annie’s Bunny Crackers because they seemed festive, but Goldfish also work. I placed the crackers inside of a clear gift bag with a tie so that I could fill her eggs ahead of time. I didn’t want to have to worry about about them getting stale or bugs in them once placed for the hunt.
